Description
NSC697923, also known as NSC-69723, is a selective inhibitor of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, Ubc13-Uev1A. It is characterized by its ability to impede the formation of Ubc13 and inhibit NF-κB activation in activated B cell-like diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (ABC-DLBCL) cells. NSC697923 acts via covalent bonding to the E2 active site thiol and is effective in inducing neuroblastoma cell death through the activation of p53 and JNK.
Uses
Used in Cancer Treatment:
NSC697923 is used as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of neuroblastoma, a type of cancer commonly imaged in the context of the nervous system. It exhibits potent cytotoxicity in a panel of neuroblastoma cell lines, effectively blocking their proliferation and survival.
Additionally, NSC697923 is used as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), particularly the activated B cell-like (ABC-DLBCL) and germinal center B cell-like (GCB-DLBCL) subtypes. It inhibits the proliferation and survival of both ABC-DLBCL and GCB-DLBCL cell lines, as well as the survival of primary DLBCL cells.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 343351-67-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 3,4,3,3,5 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 343351-67:
(8*3)+(7*4)+(6*3)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*1)+(2*6)+(1*7)=127
127 % 10 = 7
So 343351-67-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
