Description
Clorprenaline hydrochloride is a synthetic sympathomimetic amine that functions as a beta-adrenergic blocking agent. It is structurally similar to epinephrine and norepinephrine, but with a longer duration of action. Clorprenaline hydrochloride is known for its bronchodilating properties and is used in the treatment of various respiratory conditions.
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
Clorprenaline hydrochloride is used as a bronchodilator for the treatment of bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. It helps to relax the smooth muscles of the airways, reducing inflammation and improving lung function.
Used in Animal Feed Industry:
Clorprenaline hydrochloride is used as a feed additive for animals, where it exhibits a nutrition redistributive effect. It can significantly accelerate the growth rate of animals, increase the lean meat rate, and reduce fat percentage. It is commonly known as a "clenbuterol" alternative, providing similar benefits without the negative side effects associated with clenbuterol.
Used in Respiratory Medicine:
Clorprenaline hydrochloride is used as a beta-adrenergic blocking agent in respiratory medicine. It helps to control symptoms of asthma and other respiratory conditions by relaxing the bronchial muscles and improving airflow.
Outline
Clorprenaline hydrochloride, chemically named as α-[[(1-methylethyl) amino] methyl]-2-chloro-benzyl alcohol hydrochloride,it is a kind of β-adrenergic receptor agonists. It is commonly used for the treatment of bronchial asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory diseases in clinical. When it is used as a feed additive for feeding animals ,it has an nutrition redistributive effect , it can significantly accelerate the growth rate of animals, and increase ketone lean meat rate and reduce fat percentage,it is the common form of "clenbuterol" alternatives.

Medicine interactions
1.When the drug is used in combination with catecholamines such as epinephrine and isoproterenol,it can cause arrhythmias, heart rate increase , so it should be avoided using with these drugs .
2.This product has the effect of inhibiting skin reaction caused by allergies, so when evaluating skin test reaction, the impact of the drug on the reaction should be taken into account .
3.When it is used with other β2 receptor agonists expanding bronchial ,there are additive effects , but also adverse reactions are increased .
4. It should be used avoiding using with monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants simultaneously.
5. When it is used with theophylline and anticholinergics drugs ,its expansion bronchial and asthma remission effects are enhanced.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6933-90-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,9,3 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6933-90:
(6*6)+(5*9)+(4*3)+(3*3)+(2*9)+(1*0)=120
120 % 10 = 0
So 6933-90-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
