12223-37-9 Usage
Description
Disperse Red 60 is a purple powder that is soluble in various solvents such as 50% acetone for red, four hydrogenated naphthalene, and xylene. It exhibits a yellow color in a strong sulfuric acid solution and is sensitive to alkali. The dyeing properties of this product are affected by the presence of copper and iron ions, which cause the color to become shallower. It is primarily used for dyeing and printing on polyester and blended fabrics, offering good fastness to sunlight and high-temperature dyeing capabilities.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Disperse Red 60 is used as a dye for polyester and their blended fabrics, providing bright red shades with good fastness to sunlight. It is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing processes at temperatures between 125 to 130 ℃, ensuring good levelness. When used for dyeing polyester/wool blended fabrics, it results in less wool staining.
Used in Dyeing of Triacetate Fibers:
Disperse Red 60 is used as a dye for triacetate fibers, offering a similar color shade to polyester. The dyeing speed is slow, and the levelness is good, but the dyeing depth is poorer when using a single dye.
Used in Dyeing of Nylon Fibers:
Disperse Red 60 is used as a dye for nylon fibers, resulting in a light blue color. The dyeing speed is slow, with medium levelness and dye depth. It is also suitable for direct printing on nylon and polyester fabrics.
Used in Dyeing of Acrylic Fibers:
Disperse Red 60 is used as a dye for acrylic fibers, providing a light blue color. The dyeing rate is low, and the soaping fastness is poorer.
Preparation
In alkaline medium 1-Amino-2-bromo-4-hydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione?and phenol condensation.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 12223-37-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,2,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12223-37:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*3)+(1*7)=59
59 % 10 = 9
So 12223-37-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
