The invention discloses a method for synthesizing 2-methyl triethylene diamine by catalyzing ethylenimine, and aims at solving the problems of more synthesis steps and low product selectivity of the existing method. The method is applied to the reaction for synthesizing 2-methyl triethylene diamine from ethylenimine and 2-methyl piperazine taken as the raw materials and Pentasil zeolite taken as the catalyst through one-step catalysis and the method has the advantages of less synthesis steps and high product selectivity.
