Description
Novaluron is an insect growth regulator that effectively targets and controls various larvae of the genus Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Diptera. It is a potent insecticide that disrupts the growth and development of insects, leading to their death.
Uses
Used in Agriculture:
Novaluron is used as an insecticide for controlling and eliminating various larvae of the genus Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Diptera. It is particularly effective in protecting crops from these pests, ensuring a healthy and productive agricultural yield.
Used in Insect Control:
Novaluron is used as an insect growth regulator for managing insect populations in various settings, such as gardens, parks, and other outdoor areas. Its ability to target and kill a wide range of larvae makes it a versatile and effective tool for insect control.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 116714-46-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,6,7,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 116714-46:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*6)+(5*7)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*6)=116
116 % 10 = 6
So 116714-46-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Method for exterminating termites
-
, (2008/06/13)
A method for exterminating termites comprising using an entomopathogenic nematode together with an inset-growth regulator or a slow-acting insecticide, wherein insecticidal effects are reinforced compared with the cases using singly the entomopathogenic nematode and the insect-growth regulator or the slow-acting insecticide, respectively, and a bait station for exterminating termites that contains an entomopathogenic nematode with an insect-growth regulator or a slow-acting insecticide. According to the invention, emission of harmful chemicals to environment can be suppressed. The invention is nonpoisonous for human being and livestock, and is useful for indoor or outdoor extermination of termites.
