Synthesis of cyclobutanes by lewis acid-promoted ketene-alkene [2+2] cycloadditions
When compared to thermally-induced reactions, Lewis acid-promoted variants give rise to increased yields for unactivated alkenes. The article describes the synthesis of cyclobutanes by Lewis acid-promoted ketene-alkene [2+2] cycloadditions.
