Hydrophobic association hydrogels based on N-acryloyl-alanine and stearyl acrylate using gelatin as emulsifier
Poly(N-acryloyl-alanine)-based hydrophobic association hydrogels were prepared through free radical polymerization of N-acryloyl-alanine (NAA) with ammonium persulfate as initiator, in which hydrophobic monomer stearyl acrylate underwent simultaneous mice
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin having both an excellent use feeling and a skin barrier recovery action without creakiness in use, and a tight feeling after use.SOLUTION: An external preparation for skin contains a co-polymer that essentially consists of: a constitutional unit derived from an acrylic monomer of which side chain includes an amino acid residue, a polyamine residue, or an amino alcohol residue; and a constitutional unit derived from an acrylic monomer including a constitutional unit derived from an acrylic monomer including a hydrophobic and specific branch structure.
