Uses of Benzene,1-(4-bromobutoxy)-4-methoxy-: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce 1-[4-(4-Methoxy-phenoxy)-butyl]-3,7-dimethyl-3,7-dihydro-purine-2,6-dione. The reaction occurs with reagent NaOH, solvent Ethanol, H2O and other condition of heating for 6 hours. The yield is 58 %.
