Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 845-10-3 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 8,4 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 845-10:
(5*8)+(4*4)+(3*5)+(2*1)+(1*0)=73
73 % 10 = 3
So 845-10-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
