Usage

Description

Acid Orange 56 is a red light orange dye that is soluble in water for palm orange and in ethanol for gold orange. It has strong sulfuric acid properties, turning blood-red, and diluted for orange brown. The dye solution forms an orange brown precipitation when mixed with strong hydrochloric acid, and turns orange brown when mixed with thick sodium hydroxide solution.

Uses

Used in Textile Industry:
Acid Orange 56 is used as a dye for wool, silk, and fiber dyeing and printing directly. It is known for its light fastness, soaping, perspiration fastness, and oxygen bleaching properties.
Used in Paper Industry:
Acid Orange 56 is used for paper coating, providing fastness to seawater and fading properties.
Used in Leather Industry:
Acid Orange 56 is used for leather shading, offering stain and fading resistance.
