Description
Acid Yellow 117 is a yellow-brown powder that is soluble in water. It exhibits a yellow color in its aqueous solution, and when hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide is added, the color becomes tender yellow. It has good levelness and discharge properties, but its fastness to hair color on silk is relatively poor.
Uses

Acid Yellow 117 is used as a dye for wool, silk, and polyamide fiber fabrics. It provides a greenish dark color when used in dyeing copper.

Acid Yellow 117 is used as a direct dye for hair dyeing with bath/stick blended fabric.

Acid Yellow 117 can be used for printing on wool, silk, polyamide fiber, and viscose fabrics.
