Vat Yellow 12 (C.I.) is a yellow-brown powder that exhibits alkaline hidden color reduction, resulting in a pale-green body, and acidity reduction leuco, leading to a dark yellow light brown color. When treated with strong sulfuric acid, it turns red light brown, and upon dilution, it produces an orange precipitation. This product is known for its light brittleness and is used for dyeing cotton cloth and old red color, making it suitable for color printing to discharge. It is also applicable to goods viscose, silk, PVA, and peacekeeping/cotton blend fabric dyeing.
