2666-17-3 Usage
Description
ACID BLUE 41 is a dark blue powder that is soluble in water, with a water solution that remains stable at room temperature without any gathering phenomenon. It is a strong sulfuric acid dye that turns dark brown and then pink upon dilution. In nitric acid, it appears brown and is already broken. The water solution is blue, and the color remains the same when hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide is added. It has poor discharge properties and produces a dark color when dyeing copper ions and a light to dark red color when dyeing iron ions.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 2666-17-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 2,6,6 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 2666-17:
(6*2)+(5*6)+(4*6)+(3*6)+(2*1)+(1*7)=93
93 % 10 = 3
So 2666-17-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
