Description
AC-DEVD-CHO, also known as N-Acetyl-Asp-Glu-Val-Asp-al, is a tetrapeptide with N-terminal acetylation and C-terminal aldehyde conjugation. It consists of two L-aspartic acid residues, an L-glutamyl residue, and an L-valine residue. AC-DEVD-CHO is a reversible inhibitor of interleukin-1beta converting enzyme (ICE) and also inhibits caspase-3 cleavage of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase. It is an inhibitor of caspase-3/7.
