Description

Disperse Blue 87 is a black powder that is insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol, DMF, and pyridine, and slightly soluble in methanol. It is known for its bright blue color with a bright green light blue hue.

Uses

Used in Textile Industry:
Disperse Blue 87 is used as a dye for polyester and their blended fabric dyeing and printing. It provides a bright color with good color fastness and a colored light for green light blue. It is also used for the polyester/cotton blended dyeing of a bath, resulting in a bit deep bright blue color.
Used in Acetate Fiber Dyeing:
Disperse Blue 87 can also be used for acetate fiber dyeing, producing a deep bright blue color in three acetate fibers.

Preparation

1,4-Diamino anthraquinone chlorinated, stlfonation, cyanide, dehydrated, closed loop, and then 3-Methoxypropan-1-amine?condensation. 1,4-Diamino-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-2,3-dicarbonitrile?with methanol, sodium hydroxide, pyridine cyclization, with p-toluene sulfonic acid-propionic acid methyl ester alkylation, and then separated.
