Description
Flusulfamide is a sulfonamide fungicide derived from the formal condensation of 4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)benzenesulfonic acid with 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline. It is specifically designed to control Plasmodiophora brassicae in brassicas and Polymyxa betae in sugar beet, playing a crucial role in protecting crops from these harmful pathogens.
Uses
Used in Agricultural Industry:
Flusulfamide is used as a fungicide for the treatment of crops, particularly targeting Plasmodiophora brassicae in brassicas and Polymyxa betae in sugar beet. Its application helps in controlling these pathogens, ensuring the health and productivity of the crops.
Used in Pesticide Formulations:
Flusulfamide is also used in the development of pesticide formulations, which are essential for the protection of crops from various fungal infections. These formulations are designed to provide an effective and targeted approach to managing crop diseases, thereby enhancing crop yield and quality.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 106917-52-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,6,9,1 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 106917-52:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*6)+(5*9)+(4*1)+(3*7)+(2*5)+(1*2)=126
126 % 10 = 6
So 106917-52-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A microwave-assisted approach to N-(2-nitrophenyl)benzenesulfonamides that enhanced peroxidase activity in response to excess cadmium
Huang, Zhi-You,Liu, Min,Mao, Yi-Jun,Chen, Yu-De,Wang, Yan-Ping,Liu, Chong
, p. 626 - 629 (2019)
A facile and efficient approach to N-(2-nitrophenyl) benzenesulfonamides was developed under microwave irradiation. A series of pyrabactin analogues containing nitrophenyl scaffold was obtained in excellent yields. In addition, the method was pretty suitable to prepare flusulfamide. Significantly, the 3ae could enhance POD activity in response to heavy metal stress.
