• Uses: UV Absorber 1164 is used as a stabilizer for olefin polymers intended for use in contact with food. UV Absorber 1164, full name 2-[4,6-Bis(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2- yl]-5-(octyloxy)phenol is also used as UV light absorber/stabilizer in other polymers.
